|  Welcome to the CB 11 Queens website. My name is Jerry Iannece, and it is my honor and privilege to again serve as Chairman of Community Board # 11 in Northeast Queens; one of the BEST and most active Community Boards in the entire City of New York. I served as Chair from 2002 to 2007, and am proud to serve again. Our Board is comprised of approximately 50 residents of the communities of Auburndale, Bayside, Douglaston, East Flushing, Hollis Hills, Little Neck and Oakland Gardens. Many of our members are active in their local civic, religious, and community organizations. Board Members are appointed by the Borough President, and local NYC Council Members. They deal with and advise, various city government agencies on zoning matters, capital projects, and recommend budget initiatives. In addition, they also collaborate with many government agencies, and elected officials, to address and solve local problems, issues and concerns. The Board represents the residents of our neighborhoods, while balancing the interests of our Borough and City. Our meetings are usually held the first Monday of the month at MS 158 and all are welcome to observe, and participate during Public Discussion.
