Neighborhood Opportunity Network (NeON)

The Basics

What is the NeON?  The NeON is a network of community organizations, government agencies, local businesses, and community residents focused on connecting probation clients who live in the target neighborhood to opportunities, resources and services.   

Where will the NeON be located? Throughout NYC, with the first Model NeONs in Brownsville, East New York, Harlem, Jamaica and the South Bronx. 

Whom will the NeON serve? People on probation will meet with their probation officers in community settings.

What is the primary goal of the NeON? To help clients succeed and make communities stronger and safer.
