New York City is hosting the 10th Anniversary Poem in Your Pocket day
on Thursday, April 26, 2012 to celebrate National Poetry Month. To join
in the excitement and honor this major milestone, write your own poem
or borrow one from your favorite poet; just make sure to carry a poem
in your pocket to share with your friends, family, classmates, and colleagues.
All month long, organizations will present poetry-inspired events throughout
the five boroughs. Explore this site for more information on events, volunteer
opportunities, and other special opportunities.
