PLANYC FAQ

openyc - Our spectacular recovery has catapulted our population to a record high - 8.2 million. By 2030, more than nine million people will live in New York. We'll also be adding three quarters of a million new jobs and millions of new visitors. If we're not careful, this growth could result in overdevelopment; but planned well, it can also generate tens of billions of dollars that can be reinvested in our City. We can preserve the character of our neighborhoods and continue to welcome newcomers from around the world - if we plan now.
