MAINTAINYC - We've seen during power outages and train delays what happens when our infrastructure fails - and it's not getting any younger. We developed our subway signaling technology before World War II. We finished the City's two water tunnels by 1936. We built our energy grid during the 1920s. Not only is old infrastructure less efficient and more polluting - it is at a greater risk of breakdown. We can ensure a more reliable, dependable City - if we plan now.
