Welcome to the Mayor's Office of Operations Web site
New York City Seal The Office of Operations was established pursuant to the City Charter to oversee the daily operations of City agencies, coordinate City initiatives, and assist agencies in improving service quality and delivery and in measuring performance to provide greater accountability. In addition, the office publishes the Charter mandated Mayor’s Management Report (MMR), which serves as a public report card about the way City services affect the lives of city residents. The Office of Operations is organized in four main areas: Agency Services, Long Term Planning and Sustainability, Environmental Coordination and Central Insurance Program.

This site describes the Mayor's Office of Operations' mandate, its role with respect to citywide performance reporting, agency services, long-term strategic planning, environmental coordination, central insurance, and includes performance information for more than 40 agencies.
