STATEMENT BY MAYOR RUDOLPH W. GIULIANI ON THE BRITISH-IRISH AGREEMENT ON NORTHERN IRELAND
"Today's historic agreement between all the parties in Northern Ireland and the governments of Britain and the Republic of Ireland represents a blueprint for a future in Northern Ireland based on peace, justice and economic opportunity for all. The people of New York City, who share a special bond with the people of Ireland, congratulate those who worked so hard and displayed tremendous courage in forging this historic agreement. We hope it marks the beginning of a bright new day for the people of Ireland."
