Mayor Giuliani released the following statement concerning the untimely death of New York State Supreme Court Justice Harold J. Rothwax:
"With the passing of Judge Harold Rothwax, New York City has lost not only a great jurist, but a man of wisdom, wit, dignity and honor. His long and distinguished legal career spanned the decades and leaves behind a legacy of unshakable integrity. His time on this earth was too short. He will be deeply missed.
I join all New Yorkers in extending my heartfelt sorrow and condolences to his wife Yona and his children Julia and Louis."
