Mayor Giuliani today issued the following statement regarding the departure of CUNY Chancellor Ann Reynolds:
"I have been informed that City University of New York (CUNY) Chancellor Ann Reynolds has accepted a position in Alabama. I intend to continue to work with the CUNY Board to upgrade standards and promote accountability in the higher education system."
