MAYOR GIULIANI ANNOUNCES THE OPENING OF THE STAUBACH COMPANY IN NEW YORK CITY

Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani today welcomed former Dallas Cowboy great Roger Staubach and his company, The Staubach Company (TSC), to New York City. Mayor Giuliani was joined by Deputy Mayor for Economic Development and Planning Fran Reiter and Economic Development Corporation President Charles Millard.

TSC is one of the nation's largest full-service tenant representation firms, offering consulting and transactional services including strategic planning, site selection, facility management, land acquisition, corporate finance, and design and consulting to corporations and professional firms seeking office, retail and industrial space.

"I am delighted to welcome The Staubach Company to New York City," said Mayor Giuliani. "Roger won international acclaim as a quick-thinking dynamic quarterback who was always ready for the big play. Twenty three times during his career he skillfully directed come-from-behind fourth quarter victories. And, in addition to being the greatest quarterback in the history of Navy football, as a Cowboy, Roger led the team to four Super Bowls, winning twice -- in Super Bowls VI and XII. And, today, Roger Staubach has produced another winner."

"With the opening of this New York Office, The Staubach Company joins Westinghouse, Disney and countless entrepreneurs who are investing in the future and the renaissance of New York City. I'm proud that our City is the regional headquarters of an outstanding company like The Staubach Company," the Mayor concluded.

"New York will be the centerpiece of our national growth. In order to meet the expanding real estate demands of all of our clients, The Staubach Company must have a presence in the business and financial capital of the world --- New York City," Mr. Staubach said. "With the rejuvenation of New York City and the great business-friendly attitude inspired by the leadership of Mayor Giuliani --- there could be no better time to open our offices.

"I have found the ideal combination of talent that shares my no-conflict, tenant-representation-only approach to client service. We were drawn to the team of Patrick Robinson, Peter Hennessy and Gregg Lorberbaum because of their dedication to client service combined with their strong personal characters and their exceptional professional qualifications," Mr. Staubach concluded.

For four consecutive years, TSC, which was founded in 1977, was listed on the Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing privately-held companies and it has expanded from its Dallas base to 17 cities across the U.S., and in Mexico and alliances in Europe and Asia.

The TSC Stamford, Connecticut office, which opened last year to service the Firm's retail clients including Barnes & Noble, AutoNation, Walgreen's and Stop & Shop, will also maintain a presence in Manhattan. Retail real estate comprises approximately 20% of TSC's business.

The Mayor also acknowledged Mr. Staubach's New York partners: Patrick M. Robinson, formerly of La Salle Partners; Peter B. Hennessy, formerly of Cushman & Wakefield, Inc.; and Gregg Lorberbaum, formerly of Friedman Realty Group, who were all present at today's press conference.
