"With the Senate's passage of this bill, a serious blind spot that existed in our traffic laws for far too long should now be eliminated. We've driven traffic deaths down to record lows, but we still see too many accidents that could be prevented with the installation of a simple, inexpensive mirror. We've pressed for this sensible solution for years, and with the Assembly's continued support, we expect it will become law quickly, making our streets safer than ever.
