“For five years, Maureen Reidy has played a key role in attracting large-scale events to New York and aided in marketing the City’s image – efforts that helped us attract a record 44 million visitors last year. As President of NYC Big Events, Maureen helped bring some of the world’s greatest events to the world’s greatest stage, showing that New York was still open for business following September 11th. These events included the MTV Music Video Awards, the Country Music Association Awards, the Latin GRAMMYS and the Republican National Convention, as well as next year’s Major League Baseball All-Star Game.
