STATEMENT BY MAYOR MICHAEL R. BLOOMBERG ON TODAY’S ARRESTS

“I am pleased that our Police Department has apprehended those responsible for the
cold-blooded murder of two of our Finest.  Heinous and barbaric acts must be dealt with swiftly and severely and I am confident that our justice system will make sure that these criminals pay the price for who they have taken from us.  My prayers are with the families of Detective Rodney Andrews and Detective James Nemorin during this sad and difficult time. All of New York City is grieving for our fallen heroes.”
