Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani today announced that an interdenominational prayer service for family members of those who were lost in the November 12th Flight #587 crash and Belle Harbor residents, will be held at 2:00 pm, on Sunday, November 18th, 2001 at Riis Park (Bay 9) in Rockaway. The Prayer Service is expected to last one hour and will be open only to family members and Belle Harbor residents. There is no rain date scheduled for the service.
The prayer service will take place at Riis Park (Bay 9) in Rockaway. Attendees will be admitted to the event beginning at 12pm and they are advised to arrive early by 1pm.

Transportation
Eight staging areas will be located in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Queens to provide family members with free bus transportation to the Prayer Service on Sunday. Family members should call (800) 600-0032 for more information.
