"New York City has been in mourning since this tragedy took place," Mayor Giuliani said. Because so many people have asked what they can do to help the families of the seven victims, we established this fund, which will allow people to make donations and know that the money will go to the families directly and without delay."

On Wednesday night, two men murdered five Wendy's employees and wounded two others during a robbery attempt at the Wendy's in Flushing, Queens. Anyone with information regarding this crime is urged to call 1-800-577-TIPS. Wendy's and the City are offering $60,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this crime.
