Investment Basics


  The basic idea behind investing is to put your money into something that will grow in value. This can include a business, a retirement account, stocks, bonds and money market accounts. Investing is one way to grow your money. You don't need a lot of money to start investing, but you do need to know that investing involves a certain amount of risk (chance of losing your money) and that your money is not guaranteed to grow (your return).
