This page contains links to the Hazardous Materials, Air Quality, and Noise requirements of each E-Designation. The E-Designations have been sorted by borough into tables that contain the CEQR number, the certification date of the rezoning action, the name of the rezoning action, and the ULURP number. The CEQR and ULURP numbers represent environmental studies conducted by Lead Agencies to support rezoning actions throughout the City.
In order to access the requirements of a specific E-Designation, first you must know which E-Designation is associated with your Block and Lot. If you need to determine this, use the PDF list provided on the Department of City Planning's website, which is searchable by Block and Lot:
When you have the E-Designation number for your Block and Lot, first click on the specific borough link, and then find the E-Designation number related to your Block and Lot. Either the CEQR or ULURP number will be a hyperlink that opens a PDF document. This document contains all the requirements for Hazardous Materials, Air Quality and Noise E-Designations, unless otherwise indicated.
Please visit the Mayor's Office of Sustainability (MOS) website if you need more information on an environmental study conducted by a Lead Agency. Take note of the CEQR number as it will help you in finding the appropriate documents.
DISCLAIMER: OER cannot guarantee that all the information reported under the CEQR number and ULURP number are the most accurate and up to date. Please Contact MOS if you have any questions.
