Purpose: The NYC BIG Program seeks to spur the cleanup and redevelopment of NYC Brownfields by offering grants to property owners and developers for brownfield activities throughout the 
development process, from the earliest stages of information gathering through environmental investigation and cleanup work, to help reduce the cost of clean up and redevelopment of NYC brownfields.
