NYC OFFICE OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ANNOUNCES CLOSING OF EMERGENCY STORM SHELTERS
The nor’easter that impacted the New York region, along with the threat of coastal flooding, has passed. As a result, the NYC Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is closing emergency storm shelters.
OEM encourages New Yorkers to prepare for
future coastal storms by learning more about the hazard. Information on
hurricanes and coastal storms, as well as Go Bags and Emergency Supply Kits is
available by calling 311 or by going to www.NYC.gov and following the link to OEM’s website.
