The New York State Office of Homeland Security announced its annual grant for not-for-profit organizations at high risk to terrorism. The agency is accepting applications from 501(c)(3) nonprofit agencies located within in New York City and other New York regions. Applicants can include:

Organizations that help New Yorkers respond to and recover from emergencies

Organizations that have documented prior attacks and identify current vulnerabilities

Organizations with symbolic or historic relevance
The funds must be used to promote collaboration with local emergency preparedness partners and to reduce risk to terrorist attacks.
