Volunteers Creating Change: Sixth Annual Disaster Volunteer Conference On Tuesday, May 1, the NYC Citizen Corps Council welcomed approximately 350 volunteers to Pace University's Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts. The conference showcased how change originates through volunteer ideas, and how these ideas often have a tremendous impact before, during, and after an emergency on individuals, families, organizations, and communities.
