Emergency Preparedness Strategies for People with Special Needs Symposium At the Emergency Preparedness Strategies for People with Special Needs Symposium, held on March 21, 2012 at Baruch College, the NYC Citizen Corps Council highlighted grassroots solutions to more effectively support consumers, and how people with disabilities, older adults, and others can support each other before, during, and after an emergency.
