To facilitate the identification of NYC agency projects in the rapidly expanding international database of LEED® projects that is maintained by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), city agencies responsible for the expenditure of city funds on projects subject to the LEED® Rating provision of Local Law 86 of 2005 shall conform to the following when registering projects of city agencies:

Under "Project Owner Information", type in "NYC" before the name of the agency or institution.

Under "Project Name Information", type in "City of NY" before the project name.
