On October 1, 2009, the Office of the Deputy
Mayor for Economic Development issued the Notice of Completion for the Final
Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for The Shops at the Armory project. The
FEIS incorporates, as appropriate, changes made to the DEIS and responses to
comments received during the public comment period that ended September 21, 2009
following a public hearing on the DEIS held on September 9, 2009 in conjunction
with the public hearing on the ULURP applications for this project. The Notice
of Completion and the FEIS, along with the other environmental review documents
for this project, are available below in PDF format. On May 14, 2009, the Office
of the Deputy Mayor for Economic Development issued the Notice of Completion for
the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for The Shops at the Armory
project. The Office of the Deputy Mayor for Economic Development, as lead
agency, issued a Positive Declaration for The Shops at the Armory project at the
Kingsbridge Armory in the Kingsbridge Heights section of the Bronx on September
2, 2008. A Public Scoping meeting was held on Thursday, October 2, 2008 and the
public comment period remained open until 5:00 PM on Friday, October 17, 2008.
