Hunter’s Point South Rezoning Project Draft Scope and Notice of Public Scoping Meeting The Office of The Deputy Mayor for Economic Development and Rebuilding, as lead agency, has issued a Positive Declaration for the Hunter’s Point South Rezoning Project and directed that a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) be prepared. Public Scoping is the process whereby the public is invited to comment on the proposed scope of analysis planned for the DEIS as outlined in the Draft Scope of Work for the project. The public Scoping Meeting will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2007 from 3:30 to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Citigroup Auditorium, Two Court Square, Long Island City, NY, to receive comments on the Draft Scope of Work for the DEIS. The deadline for receipt of comments is 5:00 pm, Friday, November 30, 2007. Willets Point Draft Scope and Notice of Public Scoping Meeting The Office of The Deputy Mayor for Economic Development and Rebuilding, as lead agency, has issued a Positive Declaration for the Willets Point Development Plan project and directed that a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) be prepared. Two public Scoping Meetings will be held on May 1, 2007 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm and from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Flushing Branch of the Queens Public Library, 41-17 Main Street, Flushing, NY, to receive comments on the Draft Scope of Work for the DEIS.
