	The Mayor's Office to Combat Domestic Violence coordinates the provision of the domestic violence services provided by numerous New York City agencies and more than 200 community based organizations. Since January 2002, Commissioner Yolanda B. Jimenez has worked with various agencies and organizations to institute a number of new projects and practices. 	Bring an unused cell phone to a Department of Sanitation SAFE Disposal event and help victims of domestic violence, through the HopeLine® from Verizon program.
