Petition for Order of Protection
Clients who have a case in Criminal Court will have an Order of Protection issued on their behalf. FJC staff can obtain a copy of the order if needed. Staff can also assist clients to petition for a Family Court Order of Protection.

Holding Repeat Offenders Accountable
Clients may speak to a Probation Officer to determine whether the batterer is under the supervision of the Department of Probation. The Probation Officer may be able to provide FJC clients with the name and telephone number of the Supervising Probation Officer and answer questions about the Department of Probation.
