Office to Combat Domestic Violence - Donate to the FJC

The New York City Family Justice Center Initiative is supported in part by the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City. The Mayor's Fund is a not-for-profit organization established to strengthen public programs with support from individuals, corporations, and foundations. As a 501(c)(3) public charity, donations to the Mayor's Fund are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. By contributing to the Mayor's Office to Combat Domestic Violence through the Mayor's Fund, you will enhance efforts to increase awareness of domestic violence and support best practice initiatives in the field of domestic violence to improve the lives of domestic violence victims and their children.

To donate to the general domestic violence fund, please write "Mayor's Office to Combat Domestic Violence" in the memo field of your check.

To donate to the Family Justice Center, please write "NYC Family Justice Center" in the memo field of your check." Donations of $1,000 or more will be designated a "leaf" on the Donor Tree, and gifts of $10,000 or more will be designated a "foundation rock" on the donor tree.

The New York City Family Justice Centers also are currently accepting the following donated goods:

  • Non-perishable food (cans, macaroni & cheese, peanut butter, crackers, etc.)
  • Baby formula
  • Diapers and baby wipes
  • Feminine hygiene products and general unused toiletry items
  • Baby clothes (infant/toddler)
  • New children's books and toys
