Resource Directory

The City of New York Resource Directory of Domestic Violence Services provides comprehensive information on services available to domestic violence victims throughout the five boroughs.  The index below allows you to search by borough, services available, special populations, language and wheelchair accessibility.  You need to only complete one field to search the directory, for example borough, but you should refine your search as much as possible.   Please note that the borough search produces a list of organizations that provides services to residents in a borough and not the location of the organization. Many organizations provide services to residents in all five boroughs, and therefore, these organizations will appear regardless of what borough is selected.

Before visiting or referring a domestic violence victim to any of the organizations listed, you should first contact the organization to ensure that appropriate services are available.  In addition, you can contact 311 or the New York City 24-hour, toll-free domestic violence hotline (1-800-621-HOPE) for up-to-date service information and assistance in over 150 languages.

If information in this directory is incorrect please email the Mayor’s Office to Combat Domestic Violence at OCDVdirectory@cityhall.nyc.gov.  Please note that an organizations inclusion in this directory does not imply endorsement by the City of New York.  In addition, batterer intervention programs and other services for batterers that are included in this directory should be used with the understanding that such programs and services may or may not help to end the violence.  These services should be used with caution and consideration for the safety of domestic violence victims.
