Welcome to the OATH Health Tribunal
The OATH Health Tribunal is a type of court called an administrative tribunal. It is like a court, but is not part of the state court system. The OATH Health Tribunal is responsible for holding hearings on most notices issued by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) for alleged violations of the City’s Health Code and other laws affecting health.
