loan repayments stipends to graduates who have been practicing public criminal
law, (e.g.: Legal Aid, Public Defenders, District Attorneys’ Offices, Juvenile
Justice Agencies, and other government agencies) for five (5) consecutive years. The purpose of
this program is to enable experienced and committed graduates, with substantial
educational debt to continue practicing in public sector criminal law. By
assisting these graduates the program hopes to lessen the debt burden, and to

law. The fund will award at least
two (2) $7,500 grants, and plans to
continue awarding grants on an annual basis.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be currently practicing in the area of public sector
criminal law (including, but not limited to, work for prosecutors or public
