(Closed Holidays) DIRECTIONS By Car: From the East & Long Island: Take the Long Island Expressway (West) to the Van Wyck Expressway (North). The Van Wyck Expressway will become the Whitestone Expressway. Take the Whitestone Expressway to Linden Place. At the first traffic light (Linden Place) make a left under the expressway and another left to go South on the expressway service road. Go two blocks and make a right onto 31st Avenue. The College Point Pound is on your right hand side. From Manhattan & Brooklyn: Take the Long Island Expressway (East) to the Van Wyck Expressway (North). The Van Wyck Expressway will become the Whitestone Expressway. Take the Whitestone Expressway to Linden Place. The College Point Pound is on your right hand side. From the Bronx & North: Take the Whitestone Bridge to Queens. Bear left and take the Whitestone Expressway (South) to the Linden Place exit. First Traffic light on the service road is Linden Place. Continue South on the expressway service road. Go two blocks and make a right onto 31st Avenue. The College Point Pound is on your right hand side. By Public Transportation: Take the IRT #7 to Main Street terminal (the last stop). Transfer to the Q65 bus (North) to 31st Avenue and College Point Boulevard. The entrance to the Pound is on 31 Avenue - one half block East. |  |

(Closed Holidays) DIRECTIONS By Car: From the East & Long Island: Take the Southern State Parkway (West) to the Belt Parkway (West) to the Gowanus Expressway. Get off at the 38th Street exit. Make a left at the light onto Avenue. Take 4th Avenue to 28th Street and make a left. Take 28th Street to 3rd Avenue and make a left. Take 3rd Avenue to 29th Street and make a right. Take 29th Street straight, crossing 2nd Avenue into the pound area. Folow the signs to the Gowanus Auto Pound main entrance. From Manhattan & Brooklyn: Take the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel from Manhattan and the Gowanus Expressway. Take the 39th Street exit. At the end of the exit ramp make a right on 2nd Avenue. Take 2nd Avenue to 29th Street and make a left onto the pound area. Follow the signs to the Gowanus Auto Pound main entrance. From Queens: Take the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (West) to the Gowanus Expressway. Take the Gowanus Expressway to the 39th Street exit. At the end of the exit ramp make a right onto 2nd Avenue. Take 2nd Avenue to 29th Street make a left into the pound area. Follow the signs to the Gowanus Auto Pound main entrance. By Public Transportation: Take the N or R trains to to the 4th Avenue Station (Brooklyn). Walk to 29th Street and 2nd Avenue. Enter the pound area and follow the signs to the Gowanus Auto Pound main entrance. | |

(Closed Holidays) DIRECTIONS By Car: From North Brooklyn, Queens & Long Island: Take the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (West) to the Atlantic Avenue Exit. At the exit ramp, make a left onto Columbia Street (Southbound). Follow Columbia Street to its end, turn right and bear left around the back of the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel entrance and then turn right onto Columbia Street. The Pound is on the pier at the waterfront. From South Brooklyn & Staten Island: Take the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (Gowanus Expressway) (East) toward the Battery Tunnel. Get off at the Hamilton Avenue exit. Proceed straight past the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel. Bear left and go around the back of the tunnel entrance. Then turn right onto Columbia Street. Follow Columbia Street to its end - the Pound is on the pier at the waterfront. By Public Transportation: Take the F train to the 4th Avenue Station. Transfer to the B77 bus (Westbound) to Columbia Street & Lorraine Street. Walk four blocks (south) on Columbia Street to its end - the Pound is on the pier at the waterfront. OR Take the R train to the Prospect Avenue Station. Transfer to the B77 bus (Westbound) to Columbia Street & Lorraine Street. Walk four blocks (south) on Columbia Street to its end - the Pound is on the pier at the waterfront. | |
