The 112th Precinct encompasses two neighborhoods known as Forest Hills and Rego Park. There are many diverse religious and ethnic groups within the precinct boundaries. The neighborhoods make up a viable, upscale, middle to upper-class community. There are several shopping districts in both Forest Hills and Rego Park; 63rd Drive - from Alderton St. to 99th St.; Queens Blvd. - from the Long Island Expwy. to Union Turnpike and Austin Street - from 69 Ave. to Ascan Avenue.

Meetings: Community Council meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at the 112 precinct community council located 68-40 Austin Street.

Oct 19th - precinct community council meeting - guest speaker to discuss domestic violence- meeting is 7:30 pm at the precinct
 
PAINT OVER OF GRAFFITI
OCT 22nd - join us at 9am at the precinct for a paint over of the graffiti in our community - Volunteers are needed.
 
POSTER CONTEST
WE are having a poster contest for students in grades 4 thru 12
Posters are to be anti drug or anti drunk driving
Posters are due at the precinct December 9th
Posters will be displayed at our Dec 21st holiday meeting and party
Prizes,
 
911 Memorial and Museum Trip
November meeting is a trip to the 911 memorial - Date is NOVEMBER 16th -
Pre-registration is requried - sign up at our Oct 19th meeting
We will provide transportation, a ticket to the memorial
we will have a tour
 
December meeting / holiday party
December 21st - save the date
