The 48th Precinct sits in the heart of the Bronx, encompassing all or parts of Belmont, East Tremont, and West Farms. Fordham University’s Bronx campus is nestled in the precinct’s northern corner, famous Arthur Avenue runs down the center, and the Cross Bronx Expressway and Crotona Park form the southern border. The precinct is racially and economically diverse, with more than 70,000 residents.
