NEW YORK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES STREET CLOSURES AND EXPECTED TRAFFIC DELAYS FOR DECEMBER 28th, 29th, 2013

The New York City Police Department today announced street closures and anticipated traffic delays for the weekend of December 28th and 29th, 2013 as well as December 31, 2013 and January 1, 2014. Drivers should expect delays in the following areas:

Saturday, December 28

Sunday, December 29

NO SCHEDULED EVENTS


Tuesday, December 31


NEW YEAR’S EVE CELEBRATION

Manhattan: 1300 x 0500
On Tuesday, December 31, 2013 beginning approximately 1300 hours, until 0500 hours Tuesday, January 1st, 2014 closures within the Times Square area will be as follows:

41st Street between 8th & 6th Avenues (Avenue of the Americas) 50th Street between 8th & 6th Avenues (Avenue of the Americas) 8th Avenue between West 41st & West 50th Street (All inclusive) 6th Avenue (Avenue of the Americas) between West 41st Street & West 50th Street (All inclusive)

Note: 7th Avenue & Broadway between 41st Street and 50th Street, inclusive of all cross streets will begin to close at approximately 1200hrs, Tuesday, December 31, 2013 The Times Square area will remain closed until approximately 0500hrs, Wednesday, January 1st, 2014.

All closures at discretion of NYPD
