The New York City Department of Transportation has announced the following dates as Gridlock Alert Days for the upcoming holiday season:

On all holiday season Gridlock Alert Days during the holiday embargo, lane closures are prohibited from 6:00 AM to 11:59 PM on the following highways (and their service roads) and East/Harlem River Bridges (work behind permanent barrier, not impacting on vehicular, bicycle, or pedestrian traffic flow may continue)–
