The New York City Police Department today announced street closures and anticipated traffic delays for the weekend of September 22nd & 23rd, 2012.
 
Drivers should expect delays in the following areas:

Thursday, September 13th through Sunday, September 23rd, 2012

SAN GENNARO FESTIVAL
Manhattan: 1130 x 2300
Mulberry Street between Canal Street and East Houston Street
Grand Street between Mott Street and Centre Street
Hester Street between Mott Street and Centre Street
The above streets will be closed for this event

September 24th to September 28th

UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY
Streets subject to intermittent closures at the discretion of NYPD:
W 34 St to E 57 St from 1 Avenue to 2 Ave (all inclusive)
E 50 St between FDR Dr and 6 Ave
E 43 St, 44, 45, 46 and 47 St from 1 Ave to 3 Ave
E 45 St and 46 St from Madison Ave to Vanderbilt Ave (all inclusive)
