NEW YORK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES STREET CLOSURES AND EXPECTED TRAFFIC DELAYS FOR SEPTEMBER 3rd, 4th & 5th, 2011

The New York City Police Department today announced street closures and anticipated traffic delays for the weekend of September 3rd, 4 th & 5th , 2011. Drivers should expect delays in the following areas:

1. The following events may have a significant impact on the flow of traffic in the areas indicated:

Saturday, September 3rd

WEST INDIAN CHILDREN’S DAY PARADE

Brooklyn: 1000 x 1600

Formation: St. John's Place and Kingston Avenue

Route: St. John’s Place between Kingston Avenue and Franklin Avenue; Franklin Avenue between St. John’s Place and President Street; President Street between Franklin Avenue and Washington Avenue

Dispersal: At Brooklyn Museum Yard

The above streets will be closed for this event
