A car-free route will be in place each Saturday from the Brooklyn Bridge to 72nd Street from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. Vehicular traffic will not be permitted from Centre Street north to Lafayette Street and continuing north to 4th Avenue and Park Avenue to E. 72nd Street where the closure will extend west into Central Park along the southern half of 72nd Street. Major cross-town streets will remain open for vehicles that need to cross the route. These streets are:
