The New York City Police Department today announced street closures and anticipated traffic delays for the weekend of August 14^th & August 15^th, 2010.  Drivers should expect delays in the following areas:

Centre Street from Brooklyn Bridge exit to Reade/Lafayette St; Lafayette St from Reade St/Centre St to 4^th Ave; 4^th Ave from Lafayette St to E 15^th St; Union Square E from E 15^th to E 17^th St; Park Ave S from E 17^th to E 32^nd St; Park Ave from E 32^nd to E 72^nd St (including the Viaduct from E 40^th to E 46^th St); E 72^nd St from Park Ave to 5^th Ave closed to traffic

Major cross-town streets will remain open for vehicles that need to cross the route:

Route: Start on Goulden Ave north of Bedford Park Blvd. South on Goulden Ave which turns to Reservoir Ave. to 195th St; Right/West on 195 St. to a right turn onto Sedgwick Ave; North on Sedgwick Ave. (RUNNERS KEEP RIGHT) to Mosholu Pkwy; East on Mosholu Pkwy on eastbound lane, turn left around center island at Marion/Hull Aves and head west on westbound lane; Left onto Sedgwick, keeping to the right hand side of road and center island on left; Turn left onto 195 St; Turn left onto Goulden Ave; Turn right onto Bedford Park Boulevard; Turn left onto Paul Ave; Turn right onto Mosholu Pkwy; Turn right onto Grand Concourse southbound express lane Turn left around turnaround at E. 179th Street; Head north on northbound express lane; Turn right onto Mosholu Pkwy onto eastbound lane; Turn left around turnaround at center island at Marion/Hull Aves; Proceed west on westbound lane; Turn left onto Goulden Ave. to Finish.
