NEW YORK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES STREET CLOSURES AND EXPECTED TRAFFIC DELAYS FOR AUGUST 7th & August 8th

The New York City Police Department today announced street closures and anticipated traffic delays for the weekend of August 7th & AugustSaturday, August 7th

SUMMER STREETS

Manhattan:    0700 x 1300 (Aug 7, 14, 21)

Centre Street from Brooklyn Bridge exit to Reade/Lafayette St; Lafayette St from Reade St/Centre St to 4th Ave; 4th Ave from Lafayette St to E 15th St; Union Square E from E 15th to E 17th St; Park Ave S from E 17th to E 32nd St; Park Ave from E 32nd to E 72nd St (including the Viaduct from E 40th to E 46th St); E 72nd St from Park Ave to 5th Ave closed to traffic

Additional Summer Streets Closures: Cleveland Place from Kenmare Street to Lafayette/Spring Street; Kenmare Street from Lafayette Street to Cleveland Place; East 10th Street from 4th Avenue to 3rd Avenue, East 12th Street from 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue; East 12th Avenue from 4th Avenue to Broadway; East 20th Street from Park Avenue to Gramercy Park; East 24th Street from Park Avenue to Madison Avenue; East 25th Street from Park Avenue to Madison Avenue; East 26th Street from Park Avenue to Lexington Avenue; East 47th Street from Park Avenue to Lexington Avenue; East 51st Street from Park Avenue to Lexington Avenue; East 52nd Street from Madison Avenue to Lexington Avenue

Major cross-town streets will remain open for vehicles that need to cross the route. These streets are:
