NEW YORK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES STREET CLOSURES AND EXPECTED TRAFFIC DELAYS FOR July 31st & August 1st

The New York City Police Department today announced street closures and anticipated traffic delays for the weekend of July 31st & August 1st, 2010.  Drivers should expect delays in the following areas: 

 

Saturday, July 31st 

 

DOT WEEKEND WALKS – BRONX SUMMER WALKS BURNSIDE AVENUE

Bronx:            1100 x 1800

East Burnside Avenue between Jerome & Morris Avenues closed

 

DOT WEEKEND WALKS - PITKIN SUMMER PLAZAS

Brooklyn:       1100 x 1800

Pitkin Avenue between Strauss & Thomas Boyland Streets closed

 

DOT WEEKEND WALKS – SUNNYSIDE SUMMER STREETS

Queens:          1100 x 1800

46th Street between Queens Boulevard & Greenpoint Avenue closed

 

Sunday, August 1st

 

CONGRESS OF RACIAL EQUALITY HEALTH EXPO

Manhattan:   1100 x 1800

Broadway between West 57th & West 47th Streets closed

 

PAKISTANI DAY PARADE & FESTIVAL

Manhattan:   1100 x 1800
