Memorial Day Weekend: The Lincoln Tunnel center tube
will be closed from the early morning of Saturday, May 29, thru the evening of
Monday, May 31, 2010. This closure is necessary to facilitate a roadway
improvement project. Delays are expected in both directions. Motorists are
advised to seek alternate routes or to use mass transit.
MTA Bridges and Tunnels
Memorial Day Weekend: MTA Bridges and Tunnels has
suspended all routine maintenance work beginning Noon on Friday, May 28th until
after the morning rush on Tuesday, June 1st.
MTA Bridges and Tunnels facilities include the Robert F.
Kennedy, Throgs Neck, Bronx-Whitestone, Henry Hudson, Verrazano-Narrows, Cross
Bay Veterans Memorial and Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Bridges, and the Queens
Midtown and Brooklyn-Battery Tunnels.
