NEW YORK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES STREET CLOSURES AND EXPECTED TRAFFIC DELAYS FOR SEPTEMBER 26th & 27th



The New York City Police Department today announced street closures and anticipated traffic delays for the weekend of September 26th and 27th, 2009.  Drivers should expect delays in the following areas:

Saturday, September 26th  

 

CONTINENTAL AIRLINES 5th AVENUE MILE

Manhattan:          1100 x 1800

5th Avenue between East 80th & East 59th Streets closed

 

CONGRESS OF RACIAL EQUALITY INC-BROADWAY STREET FESTIVAL

Manhattan:          1100 x 1800

Broadway between Waverly Place & East 14th Street closed

 

HARLEM’S CHILDREN’S SOCIETY PARADE

Manhattan:          1100 x 1800

Formation: 112th Street between Lenox Street & 7th Avenue

Route: 7th Avenue between 110th & 129th Streets (Northbound lanes)

Dispersal: 7th Avenue & 129th Street

The above streets will be closed for this event

 

STONE STREET OYSTER FESTIVAL

Manhattan:          1100 x 1800

Stone Street between Hanover Square & Coenties alley closed

 

TUNNEL TO TOWERS FESTIVAL

Manhattan:          1100 x 1800

Vesey Street between north End Avenue & West Street closed

 

PITKIN AVENUE BID’S WEEKEND WALKS
