NEW YORK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES STREET CLOSURES AND EXPECTED TRAFFIC DELAYS FOR AUGUST 1ST & 2ND

The New York City Police Department today announced street closures and anticipated traffic delays for the weekend of August 1st and 2nd, 2009. Drivers should expect delays in the following areas:

Lispenard Street between Church Street & Broadway closed

 

JAMS FESTIVAL

Queens:           1100 x 1800

Jamaica Avenue between Parsons Boulevard & 169th Street closed

 

SUNNYSIDE SHINES BID WEEKEND WALKS

Queens:           1100 x 1800 (Aug 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29)

46th Street between Queens Boulevard & Greenpoint Avenue closed

 

NYCDOT DOWNTOWN S.I. COUNCIL PEDESTRIAN STREETS

Staten Is:         1100 x 1800 (Aug 1, 8, 15 & 22)

Van Duzer Street between Beach & Wright Streets closed
