NYPD PHOTO: New York City Police Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly joined some of the children of 11 men and women who lost their lives in the line of duty, for the annual lighting of the Empire State Building which kicks off Police Memorial Week. Starting May 8, the tower of the iconic New York skyscraper is lit in blue to commemorate the service and sacrifice of police officers.
