NEW YORK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES STREET CLOSURES AND EXPECTED TRAFFIC DELAYS FOR JULY 18th & 19th

The New York City Police Department today announced street closures and anticipated traffic delays for the weekend of July 18th and 19th, 2009. Drivers should expect delays in the following areas:

Saturday, July 18th

EAST SIDE REZONING ALLIANCE STREET FAIR Manhattan: 1100 x 1800
Lexington Avenue between East 42nd & East 57th streets closed


Sunday, July 19th

CAPTIVE NATIONS PARADE
Manhattan: 1100 x 1700

Formation: 5th Ave between 54th & 59th Sts; 59th St between 5th & 6th Avenues
Route: 5th Avenue from 59th to 72nd Streets; Enter Central Park
End: Central Park; 5th Avenue & 72nd Street
The above streets will be closed for this event

MOTION PICTURE CLUB OF AMERICA FESTIVAL
Manhattan: 1100 x 1800

Broadway between 47th & 57th Streets closed

JUAN PABLO DUARTE FESTIVAL
Manhattan: 1100 x 1800

St. Nicholas Avenue between 181st & 191st Streets closed

SUNDAY SCENE ON KNICKERBOCKER
