NEW YORK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES STREET CLOSURES AND EXPECTED TRAFFIC DELAYS FOR THE WEEKEND OF JUNE 14 AND 15

The New York Police Department today announced areas in the city that will be impacted by events planned for Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15. To relieve traffic congestion, the Department urges people who are planning to come to the city this weekend to use public transportation.

 

SATURDAY, JUNE 14

ISKCON (HARE KRISHNA) PARADE

Manhattan

11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Formation: 5th Avenue and 59th Street

Route:  5th Avenue, from 59th Street to Washington Square Park

 

ISKCON FESTIVAL

Manhattan

Noon to 7 p.m.

West 4th Street, between LaGuardia Place and Washington Square East

 

BROOKLYN PRIDE PARADE

Brooklyn

Noon to 6 p.m.

Formation: 15th Street and Prospect Park West

Route: 15th Street, from Prospect Park West to 7th Avenue; 7th Avenue to Lincoln Place

 

BROOKLYN PRIDE FESTIVAL

Brooklyn

11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Prospect Park West, between 9th Street and 15th Street closed.
