NEW YORK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES STREET CLOSURES AND EXPECTED TRAFFIC DELAYS FOR WEEKEND OF OCTOBER 13-14

                                 

The New York Police Department today announced that areas of Manhattan will be impacted by events planned for Saturday, October 13 and Sunday, October 14, 2007. To relieve traffic congestion, the Department urges people who are planning to come to the city this weekend to use public transportation. All drivers can expect delays.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13

MS BIKE TOUR

Manhattan

7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Route: South Street Seaport to FDR Drive;  FDR Drive northbound to Harlem River Drive; Northbound on Harlem River Drive to 10th Avenue exit; South on 10th Avenue to 218th Street; Left on 218th Street to INWOOD HILL PARK (Rest Stop); Indian Road to West 214th Street; Right on Seaman Avenue to Dyckman St; Right to Riverside Drive; Left to Southbound Henry Hudson Parkway/West Side Highway; Left on 58th Street; Right on 11th Avenue; Left on 40th Street; Left on 28th Street; Right on 10th Avenue; Right on 14th Street.
