New York City Police Department announces street closures and expected traffic delays for weekend of May 5-6.

SATURDAY, MAY 5

REVLON 5K RUN / WALK
Manhattan
9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Formation: West 42nd Street and 7th Avenue Route: 7th Avenue from West 42nd Street to West 59th Street; enter Central Park
Note: The NYP parking areas on the west side of 6th Avenue between West 42nd Street and West 48th Street will be used as a drop off area. No press vehicles will be permitted to park in these areas during this particular event.



SUNDAY, MAY 6

BIKE NEW YORK – FIVE BOROUGH BIKE TOURManhattan 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Formation: Battery Park in lower Manhattan
Route:
Manhattan: North on Church to Sixth Avenue, through Central Park then Adam Clayton Powell Blvd., east on 145th Street to 145th Street Bridge.

Bronx: East 149th Street, to Grand Concourse; south on Grand Concourse to East 138th Street and then across the Madison Avenue Bridge.

Manhattan: South on Harlem River Drive/FDR Drive to the Queensboro Bridge.

Queens: Through Queens on local streets until the Pulaski Bridge.

Brooklyn: Through Brooklyn on local streets until south on the BQE, and Gowanus Expressway. Cross on the Verrazano Bridge.

Staten Island: Tour ends at the Ferry Terminal.


SALUTE TO ISRAEL PARADE
Manhattan
12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Location: 5th Avenue from 57th Street to 79th Street


OLD ST. PATRICK’S CATHEDRAL STREET FAIR
Manhattan
11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Location: Broadway between Houston Street and Grand Street
