New York City Police Department Announces Street Closures And Expected Traffic Delays For April 14-15.

The New York City Police Department today announced street closures and anticipated traffic delays for the weekend of April 14th and 15th 2007.

TARTAN DAY PARADE

Manhattan

2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Formation: 6th Avenue & 42nd Street

Route: North on 6th Avenue to 59th Street

BROADWAY MALL ASSOCIATION FESTIVAL

Manhattan

11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Closures: East side of Broadway between West 110th Street and West 118th Street

KIWANIS CLUB OF SUNNYSIDE STREET FAIR


Queens

11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Location: Greenpoint Avenue between 44th Street and 46th Street

BROOKLYN HALF MARATHON

Brooklyn

Coney Island Boardwalk and West 5th Street

7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Route: West on Boardwalk to turn-around at West 36th Street; East on Boardwalk to West 10th Street; North on West 10th Street to Surf Avenue: East on Surf Avenue which becomes Ocean Parkway; North on main roadway of Ocean Parkway to Prospect Expressway: North on Prospect Expressway to Exit # 5, Park Circle; Enter Prospect Park at Park Circle to South Lake Drive to Central Drive for the conclusion.

Note: No traffic will be permitted on the main roadway of Ocean Parkway, however traffic will be permitted on the service roads.

Northbound Prospect Expressway from Ocean Parkway to Exit 5, Park Circle, will also be closed.
